"Admission to Cerritos College is open to any high school graduate
or equivalent or persons eighteen years of age or older and shows
evidence of being able to benefit from instruction. Students entering
any of the public community colleges of California are subject to the
residence requirements as determined by the State of California. A
student is eligible to attend Cerritos College whose legal residence is
within the state of California. Residents of any other state or foreign
country may be subject to non-resident tuition. The legal residence of any unmarried student under 18 years of age is considered to be that of the parent or guardian. The student should be prepared to present proof of residence. Cerritos College does not discriminate against any person in employment or college participation because of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, sex, handicap or age."
