Irvine Animal Care Center Celebrates 26 Years of Caring for Homeless Pets
IRVINE, CA (April 24, 2008): Join the Irvine Animal Care Center for a special open house on Saturday, May 10 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. in celebration of its 26th anniversary. The open house features pet-related vendors, a silent auction, pet toy sale, food, raffle and a chance to leave your “mark” at the Center by purchasing and designing a commemorative tile to be displayed in the shelter’s front office.
IACC is also offering discounts on adoption fees for dogs, cats, and rabbits during the event! All shelter pets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, micro chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed, and treated for fleas. Cat and dog adoptions also include a free five-pound bag of Science Diet pet food and rabbit adoptions include a copy of the House Rabbit Society’s How To Live With an Urban Rabbit book and a bag of hay. This is an excellent opportunity to find your new furr-ever friend and support shelter animals.

Located in a beautiful, five-acre park-like facility, the IACC prides itself on replicating family life for shelter pets temporarily in its care. Each pet enjoys a daily routine of playtime, socialization and exercise and receives high-quality pet food provided by Science Diet. The shelter is also home to 14 farm-yard animals, including two goats, three pigs and nine chickens.
