"As the number of stores geared toward contemporary urban fashion dwindles, Subject Matter's boutique carries a distinctive selection of twenty-plus brands for men and women mostly unavailable elsewhere in Orange County, including limited edition and artist based clothing made by international designers and independently owned companies from places such as Japan, UK, Canada, New York, and San Francisco. An especially unique aspect to our boutique is the willingness and interest to sell handmade products on consignment aside from our own lines.
For those uninterested in clothing, our boutique also features and sells collectible toys, vinyl records spanning the spectrum of genres, and a library of numerous artist, design, and graffiti books, hand made limited zines, and magazines. Due to the independent ethic of both the store and the artist, most of these items remain rare."
