Held in August.
"The annual La Habra Corn Festival is hosted by the La Habra Host Lions Club. They started this event in 1949 as little more than a dance and cookout. It has grown to be the largest fund raising event in La Habra and the biggest community event of each year. Among the groups who take part in the festival each year are the following: La Habra Kiwanis Club, Sonora High School Football Boosters, La Habra High School Football boosters, the La Habra Community Services Department, Job's Daughters, Sons of Italy, La Habra Firefighters Association, La Habra Police Association, La Habra Student Body Association, TOPS of Ca., Cub Scout Pack, Chino Hills Lions Club, Eric Will Gymnastics Boosters, La Habra High School Swim Team Boosters, Boys and Girls Cub of La Habra/ Brea, and many other groups.
The Corn Festival Parade is open to most any group that wants to participate. Applications may be obtained at the La Habra Chamber of Commerce or from Pageantry Productions in South Gate. The parade is one of the largest daytime parades in southern California."
