"Golden West College is part of the California Community College System and holds maximum accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The college has over 200 faculty and enrolls approximately 13,000 students. Small classes and superior faculty prepare students for associate in arts degrees and /or transfer to a university where they complete course work for a bachelor's degree.

The International Student Program provides you with a full-service office and individualized counseling and guidance in the areas of admissions processing, registration, housing/homestay, immigration law, cultural adjustment, the U.S. system of education, practical training opportunities, and hosts a variety of local/on-campus activities. Another important feature of International Student Program is the Academic Counseling service, designed specifically for international students. Such expertise affords new and continuing international students specialized counseling, and it underscores the College's commitment to international student success."
