|The City of Los Alamitos, California|| ||
"On March 1, 1960, the township of Los Alamitos became a chartered city. Since then it has advanced both as a residential and business community. It is debt-free, with excellent recreational and park facilities, a top-notch police force and an enthusiastic Chamber of Commerce. All in all, the city of Little Cottonwoods is best described as "A Little Jewel of a City." Its city seal reflects its ancestry; its official flower, the Daisy, reflects its youth, since it was named by a young boy who nominated the bloom because it was his mother’s favorite flower. With its outstanding schools, friendly neighbors and strategic location as the crossroads of two of the area’s principal freeways, Los Alamitos has nowhere to go but up!"  Los Alamitos|

|Long Beach Celtic Festival|| ||
Appears to be defunct, but if anyone has information to share, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
"The high costs asscociated with producing the annual Long Beach Celtic Music Festival by-the-sea have necessitated that I find a new venue. The costs keep getting higher as the City Of Long Beach requires firemen and policemen be on site that I pay overtime along with eight security guards at a festival that may never have had an argument let alone a fight. The festival vendors pay one of the highest permit fees of any city that taxes the vendors. Huge expenses for canopies,, tables, chairs, stages, dance floors, fencing, porta-potties, hand sinks and lack of suitable parking have forced the idea to find a more affordable and suitable venue for everyone.
The venues I am looking for will have a stage, shaded seating, bathrooms and more and accomodate about 1200 to 1500 people which is the number we have attracted to the festival. When the all the numbers add up to where I can continue to bring in the finest Celtic musicians in the world it will be a win win for everyone. The 2004 festival with Gaelic Storm, Wicked Tinkers, Wolfstone, Celtic Spring, Ken O'Malley, Banshee In The Kitchen, Everything Celtic along with Drummond Ranch's sheep herding demos, Queen Medb Ancient Celtic Re-Enactment, George The Giant and excellent vendors was extremely well received according to the surveys. Paddy Doyle's Boots put on a tremendous show Saturday night on the Queen Mary."  Long Beach|

|WestEnd Cultural Arts Center and Dinner Theater|| ||
"Today we stand on the threshold of creating a very unique venue for our community. We will provide entertainment at The WestEnd and become a partner in our beautiful community. This is a monumental opportunity for each of us living in Los Alamitos, Cypress, La Palma, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, and East Long Beach to support an endeavor that will benefit people in Orange County's WestEnd for years to come. I can remember the folks at Disney going door to door back in 1955 selling shares for $1. They were fearful that no one would come when they opened the gates. The rest is history."  Los Alamitos|
