Back Bay Boat Works
"Specialists in Mini-Multihull Boats.... Back Bay Boatworks was established in 1986 by Don Rypinski who has extensive boat design and production experience. Beginning in 1962 Don worked for Carter Pyle at Newport Boats when the 18 foot 'P' Cat (a very successful predecessor to the Hobie Cat) along with the Olympic Finn and Kite Dingy were in production. In l972, Don worked with Richard Arthur on the design of the Balboa 20 sailboat produced by Arthur Marine.... In 1986, Don began designing a series of small, lightweight multi-hull boats which could be transported on an automobile roof rack.... The TRITON Tandem Sailer was conceived to be a lightweight, roofrack transportable sailing kayak that can be paddled, motored or sailed by two adults each in a separate cockpit.... The Versacat Coaching boat was originally developed to provide paddling and rowing clubs with a boat that was stable, manouverable, economic and easy to transport and store. The entire boat without the motor weighs approximately 350 lbs. It can be powered by any gas outboard up to 15 hp max. or by an electric trolling motor. There is considerable storage in each hull and in the console on deck."  Costa Mesa

Quietman Kayak Fishing Pro
"Want to spend a day with a Pro? Call, email, or snail mail me and set up your fishing date. You can use your own stuff or I can provide most everything you need to have a great day kayak fishing on the water, fresh or salt. I always give a 110%, black belt effort, and will do my best to make sure that you come away with great memories, pictures, video, fish and perhaps most important some great new ideas about kayak fishing... Hi, I'm John Roe, also known as the Quietman, my nickname since I was a teen, from the 1952 movie The Quietman starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara. I am a Professional Martial Artist by trade, but an avid fisherman since I was 4 years old. I grew up in Orange County, fishing surfing and scuba/skin diving all up and down the coast from Santa Barbara to Baja, and a lot in Baja... Since the 1970's I would fish the big water's edge from my Dad's, then later my, 12.5 foot plastic sears Game-fisher skiff, which ironically was the same length as my primary kayak is now! What is neat for me is that the fishing we do now from the kayaks is exactly the same, with the same surf entries and exits, fish targeted, methods used to catch them, places we fish, etc. that I grew up doing, except that the modern SOT kayak makes all this much easier and more convenient than in the old days, not to mention with scuppers I don't get swamped anymore!"  Laguna Hills
SOPSA San Onofre Paddle Surfing Association
"The San Onofre Paddle Surfing Association is dedicated to promoting the sport of ocean wave riding using paddle assisted craft. Paddle surfing is the unique fusion of the skills and techniques used to surf waves on a surf board and shoot rapids in a kayak. While the associationís name is intended to reflect the diversity of craft plying the waves at San Onofre State Beach, featured will be information relevant to surfers who ride wave skis and surf kayaks. As you browse the various pages, you will see that the primary focus is on news and activities specific to the San Onofre scene. However, site visitors and SanO regulars alike, are invited to offer feedback about the sport of paddle surfing, as well as make recommendations as to how the Association might best serve the paddle surf community - both locally as well as in general."  San Onofre
