New Breed Band

This is an awesome band! (Click here to see our special feature.) Headed up by Scott Carter, a songwriter and guitar virtuoso. One of those rare guys who becomes one with his guitar when playing, Scott composes in a host of genres including good old Rock 'n' Roll, R&B, Jazz, Reggae, Blues, Soul and Funk. Their CD "Class in the World School" was released in 2002, and they are currently playing in San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles.
Savage City

"Savage City, Orange County's hardest working band is on their way to achieving the recognition they truly deserve. With the release of their new CD 'Live at Martini Blues' it has kept them busy with live shows, promotions and press.... We are a 10pc Rhythm & Blues Band (ala Blues Brothers) with the wonderful Deanna Savage as our featured lead singer. We are available for private and or corporate partys. Our promo package is available through our web site. We have appeared with Tower of Power, Big Bad Voodo Daddy, Tommy Castro, Average White Band, Johnny Winter, Marcia Ball, Rod Piazza and the mighty Flyers, Eric Burton and the Animals, John Mayall, the Royal Crown Review, Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks, Gatemouth Brown and Don Haney. Not a lot of big Horn Bands out there anymore...sure you can find 4 & 5pc Rock or alt music bands all over...just not alot of the big Party bands that lift the roof off the place." Sugar Ray

Per their website: " The men of Sugar Ray all grew up in sunny Orange County, California, with the exception of the Pasadena-raised DJ Homicide. " According to their Rolling Stone bio: "Genre: Post-Grunge, Rock/Pop, Alternative/Punk, Funk Metal Hometown: Orange County, CA Sugar Ray owe a great debt to the powers that make their fusion of styles so darn catchy. Somehow, the union of hardcore Speed Metal with growling vocals, the sunny, feel-good songs with shimmering acoustic guitar, grungy guitar-driven rock and DJ Homicide's groovy beats make a unified sound all their own. Fueled by the popularity of their ubiquitous first single 'Fly' and singer Mark McGrath's pin-up looks -- the five-piece SoCal band seem likely to beat Warhol's 'fifteen minutes of fame' prediction.
