Bowers Museum of Cultural Art 
If you enjoy cultural art, Bowers is the place. In recent memory they have hosted Egyption, Aztec & Chinese travelling collections. If you have kids, they will enjoy the Kidseum next door. "The Bowers Museum holds in its collection more than 130,000 works of art. These works were donated from 1935 to the present and represent many regions and cultures of the world. The museum's largest collections are in the areas of Native American art, Pre-Columbian art, Asian art, art of the Pacific, art of Africa and Orange County history. Tangata (or "mankind" in the tribal Maori language of New Zealand) features Southwestern decor enclosed by glass walls and a ceiling framed with stuccoed beams and large windows to allow ambient light to illuminate the main dining area. Located in the Bowers museum's Mission-style courtyard, the 160-seat restaurant dedicates half of its available seating to alfresco dining on two large patio areas. Irvine Museum

The Irvine Museum was founded in 1992 by Joan Irvine Smith and her mother, the late Athalie R. Clarke (1903-1993). Our first exhibition opened on January 15, 1993. The museum is located in the city of Irvine, in central Orange County, and hosts more than 30,000 visitors per year....
